· Contents: This is a very comprehensive website that covers expansive periods of time for China, Japan, South Asia, Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and Korea. Given the wide time span it covers, it can be used by various grade levels ranging from 6th grade instructors who cover ancient civilization to high school level teachers who cover more contemporary history. It also clearly segments various topics such as history, philosophy, government, and literature. Under each section, it provides a myriad of media that could be used in the classroom. These resources range from complete DBQs, to primary sources, to videos.
· Ease of use: The site is easy to use because it is designed in a simple, but multidimensional way. It is easy to focus on a time period at a time because the foundational structure of the site is a timeline. This makes it easy to compare and contrast multiple countries within one period in history.
· Use with students: This website is designed for teachers. For this reason, the most practical way to use it with students is to pull resources and documents to use in class. However, given a highly structured graphic organizer, students would be able to conduct research. This website is probably most suitable for students with more advanced reading levels.
· Review: Overall a very comprehensive site that is teacher friendly. The design is unique and easy to follow.
