The unit I've written a lot about in the forum about Power and Language will now include an excerpt of Richard Kim's Lost Names: Scenes from a Korean Boyhood. I found a web page resource for me, not my students, for perspective on how other teachers have taught the work to students in middle and high school. I particularly liked the transcript from an interview with the author for additional insight. I bought the book as well to read because I suspect there are alternative excerpts I might want to use.

If you go to the home page of the site (www.asian-studies.org) there is limited access to additional resources about varying topics. The site is for members of the association, but the publications section is helpful if you have the time to browse. You can search for resources on this site as well.
