Very relevant and interesting! I watched a documentary on North Korea once that followed young girls that prepared all year for a ceremony for their leader. It was called a State of Mind. A great resource if you want to introduce North Korean culture into your classroom. It was seriously eye opening! http://www.amazon.com/A-State-Mind-Daniel-Gordon/dp/B000C8STLM

Such an interesting website. I found this while searching for North Korean perspectives.
The articles are so varied - North Korean nightlife, NYC food vs NK food, North Korean women, and of course the ongoing conflict.
Take a look and ask what is trustworthy, what is propaganda, and who is the audience?

I like the website, I am not sure about it though. I was playing with the site last night, and and left the browser open and I closed my laptop. Woke up this morning and my computer battery drained (it was fully chargedand last about 2.5 hours). Normally it goes on standby. I hope the site didn't give me a bug. I clicked on several links, but who knows. Aside from that, the site is a good source of info, again, as posted, who is the target audience? I like the links for some of the propaganda. If you're doing a unit of study on N. Korea, worth taking a look.
