    I believe that one of the most stressful occupations in the world today is being a North Korean Infantryman. Not only are they on high alert for an invasion of a country that is backed by the world's leader in military technology and might, but the North Koreans are probably one of the most undernourished soldiers in service today. The dual stresses of being on military high alert and feeling hungry are driving the soldiers to assist the farmers for their own supplemental subsistence.

    Thanks for posting this, it really is an interesting article. Just goes to show that life goes on despite all the saber rattling. As usual, it just seems like more propaganda from the North, "Hey look at us, we are peaceful farmers, blah, blah, blah."

    We must not forget that we are all humans and despite the national politics and rhetoric of our leaders, the farmer in North Korea and Kansas have more in common than us and many of our leaders.

    This is an interesting article about N. Korea soldiers putting down their guns and planting rice with the farmers for the spring planting season. It also has some miltiary info and rhetoric.
