There was an article in the L.A. Times on Grauman’s (formerly Mann’s) Chinese Theater in Hollywood. It was just purchased by TCL, a Chinese TV maker. Besides owning a very famous landmark synonomous with entertainment in the U.S., Chinese companies have also purchased AMC Theaters and Digital Domain, which is the special effects company that James Cameron, director of Titanic, helped found.
