The NY Times recently published an article about the sanctions they are putting on countries that buy oil from Iran. However, Seven countries will have exemptions. China, the biggest buyer Iran has, will not be given any. My question, is this a smart move for the US? I mean, China is our biggest creditor right now. And why would we ever interfere with other countries decisions about their imports and exports? Personally, I think we use the excuse of nuclear war to stick our noses where they don't belong. Is Iran really going to give up its because China will not buy its oil?
