Universal love and brotherhood (and presumably sisterhood) being valued in Mohism, it seems to be a basis for world peace. Instead of simply revering our parents, it advocated revering everyone, essentially, and that would be maybe an antidote to modern nationalism (N. Korea, for example) and radically religious states, Afghanistan during the Taliban rule, for example. But I digress. Mohism does seem enlightened, though, and I wonder how it influenced the progress of Asian history and culture.
