I also noticed this event in the morning when I woke up. It is very reminiscent of the earthquake that hit China years back. Maybe even more similar to the earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010 and all the aid that came both from the US and other countries to help.

The number of people being found dead in Nepal is currently growing by almost 1000 people every few hours today. The total number mentioned in 3 different articles today went from 1000 to now closer to 4000 and is expected to continue growing. Curious if the number of people being trapped without help will equate to more deaths than those killed immediately.
