    XIE XIE!!!! Miranda Yueh Liang. Gary's summary questions really helped bring my own notes into clearer focus! The program was EXCELLENT!!! The speakers were great... each one could have been an all day program. I'm still reviewing my notes and the excellent handouts.

    I enjoyed all the speakers. I think that Gary Mukai was very helpful in bringing into focus what teachers need to teach in terms of modeling active thinking and analysis for their students. Looking at questions students generate is a good way to assess their depth of understanding. Its one of the methodologies of gifted education. As teachers, we are expected to develop and utilize techniques of good teaching, but often with little or no direction. Gary Mukai was an excellent example of this method.
