This is a great resource about 21st Century Korea. I can see myself using this source with my high school students. I can break up each section in which student groups can create an information poster and we can have a gallery walk that would include all the different groups' posters.

I found TOP TEN THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT KOREA IN THE 21ST CENTURY very informative in a concise and abbreviated way. It was a good way to get an overview of the important points for someone interested in learning about Korea quickly. Mr Schultz included several important factors and events in the points that he discussed which gave me a good reference point(s) to start from in understanding recent Korean history.

    Thank you,

I wish there was a similar list for China and Japan. Come to think of it, wouldn't it be great to have a list of the "Top Ten Things to Know About the United States in the 21st Century."

I totally agree. It would be great to have a list like this for China and Japan.
I was espeicially surprised to learn how technologically advanced Korea is. I have always heard that a lot of European and Asian countries have much better technology than the US. But I was really jealous when I saw the media towers that Dr. Kim showed us in class. I wonder, why can't the US get on the technology bandwagon, it is about time.

The Top Ten Things to Know About Korea in the 21st Century is a great resourse for a quick overview of Korea by Edward Schultz. As one of my colleagues stated a gallery walk would be a great way for students to share information learned and I also plan to do one but a little bit differently. I plan on students researching current information and technology used in Korea, Japan, China and the United States so they can do a comparison and learn from each other.
