    Hi everyone,

It is so good to finally be able to join you on the discussion board. There were a few technical difficulties with my account, but all is well now. Anyhow, I just want to start off by introducing myself. My name is Shari Moseley and I am currently one of two Resource Specialist Teachers (RST) for the 6th grade at Peary Middle School in Gardena, California. In addition to the RST role, I am also a classroom teacher for a 7th grade Learning Center class that focuses on developing mathematics and English skills. I am so excited to be a part of this course. My attendance in the course is long overdue. I have had an interest, but never applied. After getting my "umpteenth" e-mail (hehehe) from the USC US-China Institute during my Spring Break, I decided that it was a good time to apply. The school year is winding down and my evenings are relatively free. I look forward to learning more creative ways to introduce East Asia to my class. In addition, I am enjoying learning about Korea, Japan, and China. I hope to one day be able to visit one of these countries and bring back international knowledge to my classroom.

    Sincerely,
    Shari[Edit by="smoseley on Apr 19, 4:14:28 AM"][/Edit]
