Yet another website include on my original China website is history haven's page on Chinese hegemony. I included this web page because it presents a lot of good information about how the Tong and Song dynasties established and maintained their control over their imperial territory. It is at a higher reading level, so some students may need assisitance making meaning of this page. Yet I beleive it is a great website for differentiated instruction. Those students who are capable, competent readers and thinkers should be able to make a lot of use out of this site. It is quite informatice, and addresses the standards in regard to reunification and advancement in a much more straight forward fashion than lets say McDougal-Littell or TCI's History Alive 7th grade texts.
