    Hi everybody

I just wanted to let you know of a website that I found...http://saxakali.com/COLOR_ASP/chinamhl.htm. It is really good because it talks about the early discoveries of numbers in Asia. The website mentions oracle bones, and how they found numbers on them, also they go into the 'Yin and Yen' and how it stands for even and odd numbers. I think it is a really good website because it gets the kids interested in Asia with interesting facts. It has pictures that show what it is that they are talking about and for math teachers it involves numbers and how other civilizations have used them. This is a good site to get them started into knowing more about Asia.

    Hi everybody
I just wanted to let you all know about this great website that I found while doing some research about Asia. It is http://www.kidsconnect.com, it offers great information on emperors. dynasties, life during Ancient China, money, trade, invaders and much more. It even has information on the prediction of gender of a baby based on the mothers age and month of comception (I was surprised by this). I beleive it is a good website not only for students but for adults. It not only offers Ancient China but also other countries. If you can use it to help your students do research and at the same have fun learning interesting facts it will be good. It motivates the students to do research while learning about the world.

This website is great for history teachers. It has lessons for teachers and links to different countries and the lif back in the days, from religion, to daily life, and religion. One of the things that I found interesting was the 'Rainbow Bridge'. Hope that some of you can use it in your classroom.
