I just wanted to use this forum to express my thanks to my classmates, Clay, and Miranda. Thank you for providing a wonderful workshop that will enable many of us to share Asia with our students. I got lots of great ideas from today's discussion.

Yes! Thank you Clay and Miranda for all you have done. The class was great and it was sad to see it end.

Excellent class and I feel we have all been enlightened and stimulated to do great things with the experience! I particularly enjoyed the synergy between all the different teachers in different disciplines and the way Clay and Miranda were able to pull us together. Bob Diaz, my history department chair was very enthusiastic. At our department meeting on Thursday we "talked up" the seminar and got everyone excited about the benefits. I also, presented the unit plan which includes the conversations during the Tang, Mongol and Ming periods. This is often skipped over as people rush to finish China and Japan and keep up with the pacing plan. Our 7th grade teachers are beginning the China units right now so it was very timely. I feel like I was able to get their attention and Bob Diaz helped validate my enthusiasm. Our Assistant principal was also present. We also talked about our local China museum which I visited with the Palos Verdes East Asia class last Monday. We are going to work on a visit there as well.

Why don't we plan a reunion of our class sometime in the future.
