    If anyone is interested in learning the Korean language, the Korean Cultural Center offers language courses throughout the year. I believe the fall classes have started and a friend of mine who is taking the course says it is a lot of fun. The Korean Cultural Center is a wonderful place to receive free materials--maps, travel guides, course information. They have an extensive library where dvd/videos can be checked out--if you decide to stay at the library, there are dvd/video machines where you can watch all genres of Korea drama and tv shows alike. I highly recommend Dae-Jang Gum, the loosely biographical account of a royal female chef who ultimately becomes Korea's first female chief physician. In addition, they have a wonderful collection of art books about Korean pottery--definitely something worth checking out. Below is the website for the Korean Cultural Center:
