At our last class yesterday, Kevin, Judi and I were talking about the NPR series on the Yellow River. Last night's installment was about how the pollution in the river and in China in general is leading to environmental activism that is being organized outside the government.

The link to the series is here:

The second episode has an audio slideshow feature, which takes you along a 5 minute or so narrorated journey of the river. I though it fit in well with the goal of the seminar in using media and technology to teach about Asia. The slideshow is quick, and I could see it fitting into an introduction to many of the lesson plans discussed yesterday.

    The series isn't complete, so I'm sure there's more good stuff to come.[Edit by="aronan on Dec 12, 10:12:55 AM"][/Edit]

Thank you so much for the link. I found it myself and will be using it in my lesson plan on the chemistry and the Yellow River from solutions and solubility. The series so far has been amazing and thanks for sharing this with us.
