    Hi all,

I took the liberty of typing up a few (very simple) notes that we might be able to use. I know this is not even close to everything we will need, but maybe a start, just to get our heads around this topic.

    See you tomorrow, SAT 🙁

Well, looks like this poor posting finally has some news. Confucianism is coming back into its own after a long hideout due to political suppression. In the Taipei Times on April 23, 2007, from the Beijing AFP, an article came out saying that the ancient teachings of peace and harmony are resurfacing in China. How about that you Confucianists group members? Pretty cool, eh? The article is entitled, "Confucianism reemerges in China after long oppression" and states that the communist government is welcoming the concepts of Confuciansim, as a calming influence for the people who have many other disturbances at present, after a long suppression of the philosophy by Maoism. Several schools are going to be opening up that begin with teaching the principles of Confucianism and it is being warmly endorsed by the government, according to the article that came out on Monday. Interesting, isn't it, especially in light of events past, present and future...especially the upcoming Olympic Games.
