Hi, my name is Mike Clancy and I am way behind on this post. I am a second year struggling teacher at Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary High School. I teach world history, economics and government as I am working towards my masters at the University of Notre Dame (hence the late post, my master's classes take up the majority of my non-work free time.) The reason I am taking this class is because I love history and I want to share that love with students. I graduate from Boston College 2 years ago with a degree in History and Middle Eastern Studies, and did my thesis on the impact of the Armenian Genocide on modern Turkish politics, so my command of East Asian history is poor. After this class I feel far more confident in my understanding of the subject and I will continue to build my knowledge base.
