I have 4 students already done with their books and I'm assisting them with stitching them. I finished mine this week and I'm so excited to see the kids' finished products. They are starting to realize how excited the kids receiving their books will be to have a glimpse into their lives. One boy was upset today that he couldn't print his in color cause he thought they would enjoy it so much more if it were in color. One girl wishes she could be there to see a student read her book.

This is turning out to be a lot of fun and the kids are having great conversations about what they know about China and Japan and what they think it might be like to grow up there. This is helping me conceptualize my curriculum ideas as well.
