Sara, I thought this was very interesting as well. First, those are horrible hours, even for a man to work, and it made me think of the limited time he'll have to develop his relationships: with kids, wife. Second, I found it sad that a woman is unable to re-enter the workforce as a lifetime employee. Hence, they are unable reap the lifetime benefits such as retirement, medical.
