8/7 Morning Clay Dube
What a great ending to the nine days I enjoyed the history and information of China on Thursday, the morning and afternoon linked perfectly.
I found the fact that Mexican Silver played a role in China’s history very interesting, and that today we ship our waste recycling to China just to send something back so there are not empty sea-trains which is amazing. So are we completely out of the export business with China? Yes another question? I wish we had had one more day on modern China, I find it very interesting how China is mixing capitalism and communism, in one system of government.
Professor Dube also stated that to be part of the party means that a person would have more obligation, time spent on party business. So does this mean that unless you would gain some business benefit it would not be worth the time? Sounds like political party participation in America.
I was looking up some information on the leaders of China in the 20th century and found a site from Kings College in which there is a short essay on each leader in order. The writing is readable for all students 5th thru 12th I will post it in the web site information also.
