I've been looking at Columbia University's "Asia for Educators"
    websitehttp://afe.easia.columbia.edu/

The website is very useful. It provides online professional development on various topics about east Asia. They have an archive where they store all their older seminars so you can go back and look at such seminars as "East Asia in World History: 1750-1919". You are required to sign up, but its free. The seminars are broken up into chapters to make it easy to pick up and leave off where you want. They also have a video and lessons from faculty at Columbia university. There is a wide variety of topics that span all of east Asia. The part of the website that I feel is most useful for students is the "Resources for teachers and students". The website provides Geography, Art, Language and Religion tabs that provide a wide variety of material that can be used in class. There are also ready to go DBQs for the students and lesson plans for the teacher.
