"Asia Society is the leading educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context. Across the fields of arts, business, culture, education, and policy, the Society provides insight, generates ideas, and promotes collaboration to address present challenges and create a shared future.
Founded in 1956 by John D. Rockefeller 3rd, Asia Society is a nonpartisan, nonprofit institution with headquarters in New York, centers in Hong Kong and Houston, and offices in Los Angeles, Manila, Mumbai, San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney, Washington, DC and Zurich." - From The Asia Society website.

There are sections including education with lesson plans aligned to common core standards & curriculum guides. There are also other sections for educators such as initiatives including conferences & travel opportunities.
One of my favorite sections is on art & culture of Asia. A list of museums currently exhibiting Asian art is listed. Articles on film, literature, & performing art is also included.
Articles & blogs about each Asian country makes this a very rich site full of information about even lesser known Asian countries.
Current events in business & government can be found here in blog or video format.
Overall, this is a broad site to build knowledge on global studies & the influence of Asian economics, politics, art & culture on the rest of the world.
