The website I chose to evaluate and review is called “Asian-American Heritage Through Literature” at https://www.teachervision.com/multicultural-literature/asian-americans/19809.html. The website focuses on good Asian and Asian-American literature for children of various grade levels. It gives tips on how to choose literature that would best fit our students’ needs. It gives sample activities that can be used for works of various genres and reading levels. The website is sponsored by Penguin Young Readers Group and offers suggestions of several ways to “create learning experiences”. Overall, I think it would be a helpful website to use all year long but especially during Asian American Heritage Month in May.
