The Skirbal Center has a very good program on European immigration the to US in the later 19th century and early 20th century. It involves some interesting experiences such as going through suitcases that might have been brought by immigrants from different countries and at different time periods. Does anyone know of any similar programs I could take 8th grade students to on Asian immigration to the US? Ideally it should involve acitivties for the kids to do and not just pictures and films.
