I have to admit, this was one of my favorite lectures. Apparently, I am very interested in Koran history which I had not previously known. I really enjoyed the way Prof. Jung-Kim introduced the overall skeleton of the lecture with images. I try to do this in my classes as well. I'll show some images and explain briefly then fill in the detail after my students have done a little work on their own. Korea has a very interesting history. I can see a lot of similarities with the other countries we have studied. Korean history is especially relative to today and is something I feel that can really engage my students.
