I came across this web site when I was searching for the one child policy in China. I will use this web site for my lesson plan. I was able to find a really good article called the Family planning stands pat, by Wang Xiaodong. This article is talking about possibly removal of the one child policy. The web site had good information of how the policy has been beneficial to China. It talks about the population density and why the one child policy is enforced. I was also able to find maps of China and highly populated areas. I will have my students research this website because it is very easy to navigate through and highly informative. When you search through a topic it gives you plenty of current articles on the topic and links to other websites related to that topic.
