China showing it's poverty article

I read this article today in the LA times and found it interesting as well as overdue. It's wonderful that this topic is getting air time as well as the fact that China seems to be more willing to share/ air their dirty laundry. How difficult for a country such as China to admit it has areas of need.

I read it as well. It was excellent.
There was also a good article about Japanese textbooks that I cut out, but it was an old papaer.
