The China Watch/Daily Newspaper

In reading the LA Times dated 1/6/12, I was surprised to learn China has a national english newspaper now printed in 9 cities in the US and Americans can subscribe to the paper version of the China Daily. The newspaper article also had an editorial regarding the economic and business relations between US and China. This business relationship with China is increasing with hopes of substantial benefit to both economies.

I unloaded my LA Times subscription, do you think this Chinese paper to be good filler?
It seems obvious, if China wants to roll out their brand, then they start with publicity. I would expect this paper to be a bit tame, with their emphasis on harmony - and probably a dreadful sports section! The horoscopes would be pretty detailed though. Thanks for the post, I did not know you could get a subscription, I should have.
