There was a recent article about China’s increase in trade to North Korea. As North Korea does not have many allies, China is trading more with them and helping to improve North Korea’s “stability”. As both are non-democratic nations, they have somewhat of a kinship. Kim Jong Il also made trips to China before his death to improve the relationship between the two countries. As I saw in the movie “Seoul Train”, they also have an agreement to send back North Korean “escapees” back to North Korea who are trying to find a country where they won’t starve.
