    While surfing the web I found this article on Asian education. It was interesting to see that many of the things that happen here in the US are now happening in Asia. Kids get bullied and end up hating school that they fake being sick; just like some of our kids do here. Also, that some educators and parents, as well as, the kids feel that real learning is not happening, that it is all about learning facts to pass tests. The term was fitting to say the least "examination hell" that must be what some of our kids feel. Teachers even feel the crunch by trying to cram all the infomation in a time period. The most interesting fact for me that was mentioned was that those who can't cut it are considered outsiders and then they turn to using other aspects of becoming accepted. Is that how we have molded our children, to look to other means, perhaps their beauty to feel confident because we made them feel like an outsider?
