Extending Stay in Tokyo

Last minute thing - Since we have to tell Miranda if we would like to extend our stay by tomorrow 5pm, anyone interested in staying in Tokyo a few more nights? I can get a good deal for hotels in Tokyo (actually Yokohama) at the Sheraton.

I'm thinking of doing it by myself if no one is interested, but would prefer to split the cost if anyone else wants to.

I just called some friends up who know a bit about the area (I know nothing). They said that it's just about a 30 min. and cheap ($5-10) train ride from Tokyo. You wouldnt need to carry your bags with you since in Japan you can ship your big luggage for about $15 to the airport and just have your carry on with you where you go. Otherwise, it's just another train ride to the airport. Since I have deals with the Starwood hotels, I can get the hotel for less than $100 per night total if anyone wants to share. It would be less than $50/nt each person for a Sheraton Hotel - one of the best in Yokohama. Just throwing it out there. [email protected]

Hi everyone,

The trip extension option is now closed, so if you have not already received notice from me regarding our acknowledgment of your preferred departure date, then you will be leaving with the rest of the group on the day we depart from Japan.

We are still working with the travel agents, but hope to have the finalized itinerary for everyone soon.
