Getting acquainted

Hello everyone, I am so anxious to get started. This is my second career. I have been teaching 5 years but there is still so much to learn. As a 7th grade World History teacher in Bakersfield (2.5 hours north of L.A.) with students from a low socio-economic neighborhood, they are keenly interested when the unit on Asian cultures is presented. I look forward to a full flashdrive of information and more to take back to school! (sshhh don't tell anybody but I was a yelleader at SC in 1974, Fight on Trojans!) Jerry Crossman

Rand you 'da man! Yes, Yes, Yes! Let's try to be roommates. My hotplate burned down our first apartment building and my adult children told me, "Dad, its time to ditch the lava lamp it clashes with the black light in the bedroom".

Mr. G, Thanks for getting back to me...I am an oldie as well...I looker older than my age...because I had a rough paper route when I was a kid. With your permission I will touch base with Xin Jiang re: our roomate status. I'm curious how they are going to work that out...similar hair color, political affiliation, one's personal knowledge of the Dodger's line-up, G.P.A., or commom prep period???? Give me a call.
