    History Today Website.

    http://www.historytoday.com/magazine

This website, which is the online portal for the published magazine, has a rich archive of articles on east Asia as well as other regions of the world. The first page of the archives on China includes the following articles:

    -Tiananmen Remembered
    -Did Britain Fail Hong Kong
    -Japanese War Crimes, Chinese Justice

There are many pages, with articles going back decades and articles numbering in the hundreds. There are separate sections on Japan and Korea, each with its own extensive collections of articles. The website requires a paid subscription of 70L English pounds per year, which is steep, but may be covered by the school. There are options of 7.95L for a week and 15L for a month.
This English magazine has a long reputation for popular history, which makes it accessible to high school level students and an improvement on scholarly works. It’s a great resource for second hand resources to supplement the textbooks. Given the access to such a large collection of articles; the price is a reasonable investment for secondary teachers. I would recommend this source for teachers of high school level World History, U.S. History, Government and Economics, as well as the Social Studies electives.
