often times when teaching about ancient cultures there is that too common theme of the powerful (i use this term not as a complementy but rather irresponsible) abusing of course
in a cowardly way the common folk. its not the women that are in line threatening the masses but the young men. i so often wish fathers would teach their son about true masculenity about doing what is right by way of "how does this effect the whole" question to be posed on oneself before action takes place. mothers to pose this question upon their sons as well. some young male with a wepon is enforcing and carring out an illegal act on someone somewhere. i know perfection is ideal, but to think outside of the box for the good of all is the needed direction. i as an educator try to give the examples of true strength as well as when everybody is happy its usally a win win situation, the arts grow, trade grows, employment grows, inventions grow ect. this i try to present to our future thinkers
