    Yes, the question Who is making What to Whom and How? That is a great essential question as you mention, can be introduced to any grade level to develop their higher level of thinking on Maslow's scale....As to encourage my students to develop their comprehension skills to write, the Who, What, Why, Where, When and How questions after a reading passage...as eventually I want them to use to process automatically as they read without having to write it down. Learning this skill will help them take any comprehension test, especially the CASHEE.

    I was impressed by Irv Drasnin documentary of Misunderstanding China Revisited.
    He did a great job in creating this documentary and using the resources he did to uncover the myths and misperceptions of China. It is always amazing to see how impressed Asians are with American culture and how much they know about us, and sadly how little, if any time we take to get to know about them....
    Which is why workshops such as this, helps to break the boundaries and biases..
