This is a 5 day unit where students explore the impact that China had upon civilization. Discussions will be on how important art and artifacts are in understanding culture and history. Students will make their own paper, ink, and paintbrushes. In-class work and homework assignments prepare students for the culminating project of designing their own Imperial Chinese artifact.
