This mornings news on NPR is that Kim Jong il named a brother-in-law to a powerful military post on today and sacked its premier in moves seen as consolidating Kim's grip on power and paving the way for his youngest son to succeed him. It will be interesting to hear what our professor has to say about this tomorrow.

I heard this as well and I was pleased that I knew what they were talking about for once.
I was wondering how long Kim Jong-II will be interim leader.
