    Thank you Jennifer for such an informative evening and essential review of Korea.
    Evidently, S. Korea is triving since the Korean War. Unfortunately, the war lasted 3 years and was extremely destructive (as wars always are), however, S. Korea is now in the top 5 suppliers of steel worldwide. Would they be there without having the Korean War? Whos knows? Those "would ifs" are always baffling.
    I did not know that Confuianism and Buddism co-existed.
