Korean Academy for Educators KAFE (http://www.koreaacademy.org/)

An easy to use, visually aesthetic website that is not intimidating. Ease of use for both adults and students. With proper guidance, students can access information to websites or if they want to further explore Korea on their own.

The “Resources” tab leads you to the following tabs: Publications, Literature, Organizations, History, Video and Audio, and Local Hotspots. Under each of these tabs you can find resources that relate to the subject of the tab. My favorites are History and Literature. The History tab provides publications and where they can be purchased or downloaded and also provides for links for history. The Literature tab also provides links, but also these links are for lesson plans as is the case for A Single Shard (history, geography, setting, themes).

Under the Publications tab, one can find journals, books, etc. that are suitable for teachers and those wanting to learn more about Korea. I highly recommend this website for middle school teachers and older students who still need additional support: ELL, SE, etc.
