    Rationale: The purpose of this unit and activities is to incorporate the use of different forms of media and art associated with East Asia in to the Ten Grade Social Studies curriculum focusing on causes and consequences of WWII.
    Objectives: 1. Students will identify and define unfamiliar vocabulary related to Jewish Concentration Camps and Japanese Internment Camps.
    2. Students will identify and list examples similarities and differences between the conditions and purpose of Jewish Concentration and Japanese Internment Camps.
    3. In groups Students will compare and contrast each camp and give opinions based on their observations.
    4. Students will share and discuss their opinions with the class.
    5. Students will explain in a ¾ to 1 page essay if the treatment of the Japanese and Jewish minorities during WWII was the same.
