GuestI am Madeline George and I teach 8th Grade Language Arts at Frank Wright Middle School, in Imperial. Monica Munguia-- who is also at this institute- is my next door neighbor at school. Next year will be my 24th year teaching in Imperial, so I am READY to implement new ideas in the classroom! Over the past 23 years I have taught speech and drama, coached basketball, sponsered classes, run ASB and Honor Society, and I have been on the school leadership team for many years. I am now teaching children of former students..... which makes me feel rather aged. I am looking forward to learning as well as being out of the inferno that is the Imperial Valley!! Woo Hoo!!

KeymasterHello everyone,
Welcome to the web discussion forum for the USCI/NCTA 2012 summer residential seminar!
This is a space in which we can all get acquainted prior to the seminar. To that end, it would be great if you can reply to this post and provide the following:
1. Your name
2. Your school and teaching assignment
3. A photo (if you so desire; see attached "Using the Web Forum Guide" for detailed instructions)
4. Anything else about yourself that you would like to shareWe will be posting information relevant to the seminar here, so please check in regularly. Also, for the ease and convenience of all forum users, please limit the number of new threads you create. If something can be shared, discussed or expanded upon under an existing thread, let's do so.
Thank you for your consideration, and welcome to the forum!
