I found another great book that a teacher at the GATE Seminar recommended today - Science in Ancient China by George Beshore. The Gited Elementary school children love it and use it as one of their best references. I also observed the presenter in a demonstration lesson giving the students an introduction to the Classics. And guess what she used on a wonderful powerpoint - Japanese Art during the Edo Period. It was beautiful.
