A new movie opens this weekend, "The Children of Huang Shi", about a young English journalist who went to revolutionary China looking for a story, but instead found himself on a mission to save Chinese orphans from the horrors of war. I downloaded the trailer which looks pretty good, you might want to check it out this holiday weekend. The review is very good!

Valerie, if you see the picture this weekend give us a review before class. The closest theater for me was in Alhambra.

The film, All The Children of Huang Shi from Sony Pictures has much resemblance to other war-torn citiy films. This film depicts China in the late thirties having no grasp on the growing number of orphanges. The massive wars and government control of Chinese regions makes for a bitter, vindictive generation to come. Could this possibly have any relationship for those who migrate to the states?
