    WOW I'm the last one I think, well I agree with many of you about David. I really enjoyed his style. I have always found poetry very difficult and I think I would have really enjoyed being in more classes of his. I found that as he posed simple questions or built on another ideas, I was doing my own thinking about the poetry. His consistent questioning was done with skill in order for us to take as much as we could from the poetry. I also, I must say that the selections he provided for us were great and can't wait to use them and give them to collegues as well.

    I really got some great ideas for my class from this lecture. Ting in modern music is one of my favorite things to do so students can relate to it and David gave us some great examples how to do that. Not to mention some great poems to use to compare to modern poetry. I liked the way he took the time to gives us time to think of some ideas and brainstorm as a class.I felt some great ideas came ot of the class that day. Thanks David
