Since 2007, There are reports of 4800 pets dying due to the ingestion of Chinese pet treats..although not scientifically confirmed. Petco will no longer carry pet treats from China. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/business/2015/01/petco-clears-its-shelves-of-treats-from-china/
