I just read a short, but interesting article about how the government of China wants the world to recognize that China has a major problem with poverty. Here's the article:

The article states that the government of China is trying to convey the message that China is too busy dealing with internal poverty to be a threat to its neighbors and how China's trade surplus with the USA is a result of the low puchasing power of millions of its people.
I think that this news shows a major movement of China from communism as we know it. Government truthfulness is a step towards freedom. Good news!
