I found this article interesting as the sex trade (the world's oldest profession) is still alive and well all over the world. There is no secret about the red light districts near military bases, the creation of Patpong/Pattaya in Thailand during the Vietnam War. What is of note is that now the stigma and shame of being in the (or having been in) the profession is outweighed by the practical need medical treatment and money for aging workers in this field. If successful, this might create a precedent for other countries.
