I figured others might have questions to post so feel free to do so here...perhaps we can answer multiple people's questions at once.

I was wondering about the Skill and Content Objectives section of the Lesson Unit. It states we should use the CA and NCHS World History or CA Language Arts Content Standards for our lessons. Is that the case for me as an art teacher as well? I have my own set of CA State Content Standards...or is it more about you needing us to meet certain requirements you have from above?

I would think you would use your Art standards but would inevitably touch upon History or English standards, but this is just my opinion.

I'm sure some of the Art standards mesh with Social Studies and English Language Arts. I would stick with the Art standards becuase you are supposed to create a lesson plan that you would use in your classroom. A regular lesson plan for you would have to include CA Art Standards.

Has anyone posted their lesson plan? Are we just supposed to post them. I'm wrapping up my unit now and wanted to know if I'm supposed to post it on the forum or e-mail it to Miranda? Does anyone know?

I beleive we are supposed to mail her a hardcopy and also a digital copy. I send mine in the same envalope (digital copy on CD). I haven't posted anything to the board as far as my lesson plan. Was that a part of the requirement that I missed?

It wasn't a requirement to post your lesson plans. It was mentioned that you could post your lesson plans to share them and get some feed back from your peers. It might also make sense to post them in the Asia in My Classroom Discussion board under Middle School ideas or High School ideas to share them with a larger audience.

Thanks for responding. I went ahead and printed mine out as well as copied everyting onto a CD. Then I mailed everything in the same envelope as well.
