    Hi all,

    As Clay mentioned, there are two required readings for session 3, including 19TH CENTURY CHINA, and WAR & REVOLUTION IN CHINA. I have included both in the web forum for you to download.

    The former is divided to 4 sections, and the latter 5 sections.

    OPTIONAL READING: Scan Ch. 19, 23, and 26 in the Ebrey, Walthall, & Palais East Asia textbook.

    We will give out the course reader during next session, which includes all readings for the rest of the seminar.
